Nestled in the foothills in a small Quan Ba district commune, in the outstandingly beautiful northern province of Ha Giang, lies a village that is renowned for its generations-old traditional craft of brocade weaving, dying, and designing.

In a high-speed world in which traditions and their teachings are lost with departed elders and forgotten by the younger generations, this H’Mong village, with its village-run co-operative, is set on preserving these skills for future generations, while producing beautiful, high quality products, as well as greatly improving the standard of living of the village’s families.

Amidst a hubbub of activity and equipment, all the artisans, from school children on their lunch breaks to the elderly of the village, warmly welcome you to their workshop and proudly exhibit their skills which, combined, create a range of beautiful, vibrantly colored textiles.
